@elizat, I started by posting about my pet bunny and went from there, it seemed safe, who is going to say "take your stupid bunny pictures and get out". LOL!

Just re-read my post, I didn't mean to infer that I think you're a net nanny LOL! I admire you for speaking up. I hesitate to do so these days, just don't want to be put in a position where I could be criticized for voicing my opinion. It's happened to me in the past. I agree with your posts.

Some users here can be major dicks. I honestly don't recall people being this rude back in the day, and I'm an old timer with little patience. Covid-stress, maybe?

There is another forum with the name of bee in it that I sometimes view as an unregistered user and if you come from that forum, it's a very different tone for jewelry. People here want the stats, details and generally have a very different view point on stones and jewelry than they do on that site, even though I know there are some cross users. Posts like guess the carat weight or stats or does this look real or fake probably aren't going to be received like they would there- but each forum has a different tone, that's all.

Yes this. I wanted to say something similar. I just didn't know how without it sounding snarky. Both PS and the Bee are great. They just have different board cultures if you will. They love guessing games like that over there for sure I agree.

@Evangeline77 Welcome to PS. We would love to hear more about your shiney! You can make a new thread and or post it in any appropriate Show me type threads. We love seeing people's stuff and hearing all about it :)
 
Sorry, my initial response was cross because I dont feel like "guessing game" posts are helpful. If OP knows what a stone is and has concerns, then we can help. But asking us to guess is a recipie for being disappointed, IMHO.

I saw, it made me laugh to be honest. I was like yeah I woke up yesterday and thought about all the ways all day I could waste his time and this is what I came up with :D I appreciate the nice comments by the way, but no worries, this is not my first rodeo on the internet lol
This was nothing compared to what goes down on the “bee” sometimes. Doxxing and all

@kgizo, here are the Bunbun threads, we sadly had to put her to sleep last year due to illness but she was a sweetheart.

It took me years to actually post because I am just a lowly magpie CS (colored stone) collector with an anemic jewelry collection. I didn't think I could hang.
I can happily say I was totally wrong about that.;))
It's just that they rightly know that this is where you come for expertise/help you can't get anywhere else and they take it seriously. They have a job to do:lol:
You have a beautiful rock and we would love for you to show it off. We are also super greedy and want all the pics. All the pics! SO, come on in, the water's fine.
 
Well I just read and I was guessing diamond but some moissy are now cut hearts and arrows so it’s hard to tell. Welcome and beautiful ring!
 
I just checked back and saw it’s a diamond, which confirms that I will forever be in love with both beautiful stones!

Nobody even uses bad language here i forever have to mind my tounge when i get really excitted over a spectacular piece of jewellery

I think your ring is lovely. I like the G color but I'm a G-H gal myself so it looks great to me. Welcome to PS. :wavey:

haha the pear is much more modest. It's a 0.8ct pear halo. I'm still in the beginning of my (what looks like is going to be a long journey) with diamonds. I'm slowly creeping towards bigger and better :D I'm in love with how white it looks sometimes, but as you can see there is not a whole lot of fire.IMG_7764.jpegIMG_7198.jpeg
