Is this a decent pear for pendant?

Thank you!

definite pass for me. the cert is IGI so likely is worse than SI2 clarity. (stick to GIA) It does look cloudy and the faceting isn't super lively as the stone turns. what is your budget?

Watch the one you linked and then watch this one and how the tips of the stone also light up as it turns:

not necessarily recommending this stone, i'm not great with fancy cuts... i just grabbed it as one that looked livlier than above.

Thank you, Farrahlyn! My budget is around 9k, but I was happy to find a stone that JA consultants have favored over other stones for a lot less! Considering the stone is for a pendant and will be looked at from a distance, would the difference in the performance be noticeable between both stones?

WHat's the price on it if you don't mind saying? it's not surprising that is is less expensive. IGI cert means if it were graded by GIA, it's probably not SI2 but worse and the color is not a G as well. you're probably looking at an H, I or even J color. Look at the color on the ends of the stone. I just couldn't spend thousands on a stone that is only ok, the ends of the stone barely light up at all. Did you request an ASET for it? You could always go for a smaller stone?

There is a fair amount of mushy undefined facets at both ends. If you can hold tight, PS members can look later (beginning of the work day fir me right now). I think we can give you some options.
