i don't mean D/IF, but D/FL. I have never seen one. Please post a pic of the lab report.

What's the difference?

Yep. They just don't tend to last long as such, since even a faint bruise will become the grade-setting inclusion. Collectors tend to leave them unset.

Bluenile has 29 D Flawless rounds.

You could probably set them all in one bracelet to complement that awesome watch.

I am almost sure once a D (or any other color) Flawless Diamond is set in metal it authomaticaly looses it's Flawless grade to an Internal Flawless grade...

WOW!!,I didn't know they were that common...

it's probably super rare only in the physical retail stores.

Why would you think it would only be in physical retail stores? Internet stores have access to many if not more of the same stones.

Interesting discussion though! Didn't realize they were that "common" either. I would be curious to know as well whether they would really lose the FL grade once set.

What I found strange was that, at ritani at least, the ONLY had D flawless diamonds. They didnt have any other color. I wonder if flawless is really only marketable when paired with a D. Like at that point it goes to being a collector item, like people have said, something you wouldn't set. Is there not a market for an I Fl? Is it just more feasible at that point to set it and sell it as possibly an IF?

Idk about the selection Ritani has...when I went to Blue Nile (since that is where kenny pulled his comparison) they had all the way down to J FL. http://www.bluenile.com/diamond-search?pt=setform&track=NavDiaSeaRD#diamonds_pid=LD03271534
I think there are always people who put clarity > color vs. color > clarity, etc.
