Is there a name for this type of setting?

I am wondering how sturdy it would be. I looked around the internet for hours and could not find other settings where the shoulders attached directly to the basket. Maybe if it has a name I could research it more. I am advising future sil and of course my daughter likes a setting I know nothing about. Thank you.

Interesting. No bridge. I'm sure it's soldered together but it almost appears part of the strength would be in tension.

It's a cathedral setting without the part of the shank that goes under the head - dunno if there's a more specific name for it, but I'd look at cathedral settings.

Yup, it’s a cathedral setting with a floating basket. I don’t know how durable it would be long term.
