Is the price reasonable?

Dear all, I came across a ring. It''s a fancy yellow Marquise. It is 1.01ct. It has diamond halo around it and it''s going for $1790. I wonder if it''s worth buying. It is not a certified diamond. any input? Thanks

If it''s not certified actual colour, clarity, and cut is anyone''s guess. MY guess is that a true fancy 1.01 would cost a whole lot more than 2k, and the vendor is hoping you don''t dig deep enough to find out.

I would agree, without a report the diamond could be a worse color, clarity, or may be a treated color. All of this information would be vital to help a person evaluate a price of a colored diamond.
