Is now the best time to buy lab diamonds?

Hello! I’m trying to figure out if now is a good time to buy a lab diamond, or if I should wait til March (after the holidays and Valentines Day). I’m talking to a couple of vendors but they say now is the best time to buy, of course lol. Will prices drop soon? Thanks!!

In the time since I’ve been keeping track over the past 2 years, the bigger price drops tend to happen during summer when there is more inventory.

I'm a newbie, but I recall people saying that prices stay up through Mother's Day. Maybe there will be a lull between Valentine's and Mother's? I've also heard that August is a great month to buy, and this past August, prices were indeed low.

My own sentiment is that I do not wish to lose big money on big LGD purchases such as a single 5ct+ OEC stone right now; however, I would be happy to make smaller purchases such as to use LGDs as melees in new jewellery items to be made, such as rings, cluster earrings and bracelet/bangle etc...
