I had this ring given to me by a good friend and didnt think too mich about it until several people commented on it and wanted to take it to our local, and only jeweler in our town. I did not take it in because i do not trust him. Many stories about stones getting switched out of jewelry for cheap fakes. Please. Any help on information of any kind is appreciated. I have never seen another exactly like mine and i have looked extensively. Thank you! am posting pictures of ring separate because i am having trouble posting it with my message.

Hopefully it works trying to post a pic of ring20171003_120357.jpg 20171003_120357.jpg

It's hard to tell from your pics. I wouldn't have guess the setting is gold, but see a 14K stamp inside the ring. Can't make out the other stamp. The setting looks fairly basic to me, and I would guess it is mass manufactured. If the stone is glass you usually see abrasions along where the facets meet. It could be a lab created sapphire which isn't worth much. If it is a real sapphire there are all kinds of treatments so it could be worth very little if it has a lot of treatments, or worth a lot if it has no treatments. You would need to send it to a reputable lab to find that out. If you like it wear it and enjoy it.

Thank you very much. I will look up some labs to send it to.
