Based on your numbers, the diamond scores a 3.4 on the HCA, so I would pass on this stone regardless of the price since the score is over 2.

Using the Price Comparison tool, I found three 0.83 SI1/J stones in the $1700-$1900 range, so IMO I wouldn''t say this is even a good deal.

Try using the "Search by Cut" tool under the "Price" heading at the top of the page. This will return stones with good proportions to help you in your search.
