Coming down to two diamonds I'm choosing from
.81 G XXX (2.7 HCA) No flour
.84 E XXX (2.6 HCA) No Flour
the slightly bigger rock with better color is $800 more....is it worth the jump? They both look great! give me your opinions peoples please...All inputs please

Bit hard to realistically assist with the limited info you have provided. No GIA report numbers or listing links.

We would usually say that you should rule out stones with a HCA above 2 at first and then pay more attention to stones which have a HCA lower than 2.

I thought a High HCA score was good...stones he showed me beginning of the year was below 1.0

For stones with HCA scores between 2-3, you have to take a look at them and compare stats. Generally, stones with scores under 2 will be ideal cut.
