Hi. I will admit that I am looking on EBAY at diamonds. I can not afford to update my ring at this time without selling it first, so I thought that I would look into alternatives. One thought that I had was this:
Could a poorly cut OEC be re-cut? Some the the diamonds I see look just gawd awful! How can they really tell the color and clarity through such a poorly polished stone? I had read that BGD re-cut someone else''s diamond, but in a another thread I read that diamond cutters prefer not to do this.
If the price is right, would it be worth it?
