in dim lights? like in a resturant. and not so well in direct lights...like in direct sunlight? I'am referring to RB.

yes there are several cuts that will perform awesomly in lower light but be blown away by an ideal cut rb in direct sunlight.

Yeah...

It would be a cut with lots of fire and so-so brilliance, since fire would show more in week, directional light (candles in a restorant qualify).

So an OMC would look great in such lighting while it would not be very bright in direct light. An ideal cut (with both top brilliance and fire) would probably handle light tops in both direct and indirect light.

Yes, and that is essentially the test of a well cut stone, well cut diamonds perform exceptionally well when starved for light...
