Hi guys,
You saw my other thread about snagging issues with pave, well I had ring totally remade and it still is snagging. I have the exact same style as many of you have here on PS from SK. It really bugs me! I guess i have no choice but to live with it, but I wonder what you all think about the fishtail pave. do you think it would be smoother? I do not want brightcut.
Right now the u cut snags on silk, cashmere, wool, some cottons. I wonder if some of you who have said it does not snag, if you tried running it across a piece of fabric what woukd happen? I can feel mine stick.
I feel sad because I did pay to have it redone. The workmanship seems great to me so I don't think that is the issue, but rather slight variations in style. Thoughts?

SK made it? If so, you probably should tell him about the problem. I have not heard that as a problem here, but I also haven't heard of too many using fishtail pave lately, either.

Mine is u cut

Maybe brightcut is the best option for you?

I have a brightcut pave band amd I do not love it. Also, the snagging happens like 20 times a day so I am baffled as to how others do not seem to have this issue. I really really want a pave band :(
I feel like crying!

I am so sorry you are still having problems w/ your remade SK pave band! Perhaps you may want to consider a band w/ 1/2 pave only so you will have a smooth side on the palm of your hand that will not catch? I really have not had any problems w/ my u cut pave bands from VC and I wear 2 of them stacked on my right hand daily!

I believe it is the tiny slits between the U's that snag.
I am wondering if something like this would be better? Metal in the V is actually raised and not ad pointy.

Ok perhaps I should sell it ? I cannot wear it. I am so mad at myself for even paying to have it redone!

Maybe channel set is the answer for you? I can't help much, I only have prong set and I never snag it . . .

The point I guess is I have paid for it more than once and it still is not wearable to me.
So do I just forget that I have spent 5k? I would send it back and get a refund if I could.
