G.i.a is known to be the stictest in their grading. therfore paying more somtimes.

Your best bet is to check the web, and compare!!!

So, the certificate is not good one ?!
and what about the cut of this diamond ?

Are you buying in Antwerp?

If you do an advanced search on IGI - specifically Antwerp or belguim, you may pull up some information. GIA is U.S. mostly. IGI-U.S. has not shared the greatest of reps. on this board. IGI-Antwerp is more strict.

The cut ranks an AGA 2B, which is a respectable technical grade for the diamond that I would characterize as "good to very good" on a scale of poor, fair, good, very good, excellent.

It's a touch deep (63.5% depth) with the spread of an ideal cut 0.83 carat. That's not the end of the world, but the crown and pavilion angle combination in this stone does not work too well together, creating a ring of light leakage just inside the table. DiamCalc Light Return Analysis follows with a POSSIBLE profile regarding this stone, along with a POSSIBLE IdealScope image attached.

If you're looking for a dynamite cut, I would say to keep shopping. If this stone looks good to you and satisfies your budget, don't let me talk you out of it.

A POSSIBLE image is recreated with the DiamCalc software showing the following light return analysis:

Light Return (mono)…...: 0.85 Good to Very Good
Light Return (stereo)…..: 0.87 Good to Very Good
(Non) Leakage (mono)..: 0.53 Poor (I would term it "fair")
(Non) Leakage (stereo).: 0.48 Poor (I would term it "fair")
Contrast............................: 0.95 Very Good to Good
(Non) FishEye Effect…...: 1.00 Very Good

-----------
IdealScope- In general, the darker pink areas indicate areas of greater light return, with the lighter pink areas indicating areas of lesser light return. The black areas indicate areas of greater contrast, with the gray areas indicating areas of lesser contrast. The white areas indicate areas of light leakage. A good explanation of the IdealScope image along with examples can be found at https://www.pricescope.com/idealscope_indx.asp

Disclaimer- The facet arrangement and symmetry of the image will probably vary from your actual diamond, which may affect the light performance indicated, sometimes dramatically. The computer generates an image with “perfect” symmetry, which is rare. Also, the star/lower girdle facet lengths will probably be different from your diamond. The computer simulation is reproduced best when the actual diamond is being viewed and the image "tweaked" to the appearance of the diamond, or Sarin info is downloaded directly into the program. However, this "blind" reproduction should be helpful in considering the major light performance aspects.
