Hi again,

Another stone I am considering is an "Elexese" cut princess. It was explained to me that Elexese represents as close to ideal proportion as attainable in a fancy diamond. I was impressed by the brilliance and symmetry (a fraction off of perfect square), but this special cut seems to up the price a bit (5-10%) from what I would expect to pay for a similar stone of average cut.

Is Elexese worth the investment?

Thanks,
-Gabe

Hi! On PS, Infinity is a popular princess brand. Haven't heard too much about Elexese, accept from those annoying Robbins Bros commercials. You should be prepared to pay more for well-cut diamonds and branded diamonds. Only makes sense, right?

I agree with that. You will get a great cut going with a branded diamond, but this is not necessary. You can find an exceptional princess cut for more value from whiteflash expert selection or from dirtcheapdiamonds signature series. Some people prefer branded stones such as hearts on fire, origional radiant, or royal asschers for example, but you can get a BIGGER very similar looking diamond going brandless. This being said...you will have do your research and look around more going brandless to get a good cut, but you''ve come to the right place!!! I personally would prefer the bigger diamond diamond of similar quality over the branded diamond. Pricescopers are amazing. I am constantly impressed with how helpful they are for everyone, and I know that they can find you a fantastic princess. Do you know what size, color, clarity, etc. you are looking for?

no, I dont think its worth the extra money.

you can find an equally stunning princess thru any of the vendors here, or even your local B & M....you just have to know what to look for in cut.
