Wedding is cheesecake filling a bad idea for our cake ?

I went to wedding this summer and the cake was cheesecake. It was 3 tier and I can''t remember if all the layers where cheesecake or just some of them. It didn''t have frosting, it had a sugar dusting of some sort. All I know is that it was the best darn wedding cake I''ve ever had. I am still thinking about that cake!
