Is 1.9mm shared prong band strong enough?

So, even though everything has already been ordered, I''m still second guessing myself. I picked everything out but as soon as I actually made *the* decision, I freaked out. I''ve been in control of the process up until now, and now that my boyfriend has taken over, I guess I still need something to stress about.

Anyway, we chose 1.9mm white gold wedding band and engagement ring settings from Signed Pieces. The wedding band has 11 diamonds for a total of 0.33 carats. The engagement ring will have 1 less diamond to accomodate the center stone. The center stone is 0.735 carats and I felt that the thin band would help it stand out more. Now I''m wondering if the metal in such a thin band will be strong enough to keep the diamonds safe in daily wear? Any thoughts? Thanks!!

I think it''s going to be beautiful and you should not stress from here. It''s going to be fine! It''s auto pilot now, so just wait for it to arrive and see what you think.

Miranda---my real name is actually Miranda...Murr is a nickname my boyfriend gave me. What a coincidence!

Just Julia--Here''s the link to the band--

http://www.thefacetscollection.com/item.cfm?item_id=4000

The engagement ring will match the wedding band above. The whole set will look something like this--

The center stone is a 0.735 ACA WF stone.

The rings won''t be done for a couple more weeks....it''s going to be really hard not to be nosy :) But I know it''ll be worth it.

My band is about 1.9 mm shared prong and it is quite sturdy. I do baby it though, because it is quite thin!

My E-ring (which is still in making right now) looks VERY similar to the one you ordered except mine is only 1.8mm -- according to the jeweler i am working with == the strength shouldn''t be a problem and make sure you get the ring check every 6 mos or 1 year to make sure that the prongs are holding up :) Other than that --- INSURANCE , INSURANCE, INSURANCE! :)
