You will not believe this.
Yesterday my father bought a used car, paid for in cash, and some time last night it was stolen from our driveway (I''m visiting them for Thanksgiving). We had the car for less than 24 hours.
I don''t want to sound like a nutjob, but I just can''t explain this away.
I normally go to bed early but last night, I had the strangest feeling that something was going to happen to the car. Something in my gut kept telling me something bad was going to happen in our driveway... I didn''t think "my car is going to get stolen" but I just had this really vague feeling, like maybe someone would vandalize it or break in. From around 9 PM to midnight I kept turning on the driveway lights and looking outside. A little after midnight, I actually walked down to our driveway (it''s a long driveway up a hill but the car was parked near the house) and looked at the cars parked there. I could not shake the feeling that something bad was just around the corner.
This morning, my dad goes outside and the car we''ve had for less than 24 hours is gone.
Unbelievable. I''ve never been one of those "trust your gut, use your intuition" type people, but last night, I really did know something was wrong even though I didn''t seem to have an apparent reason at the time.
By far the worst Thanksgiving yet!
