Introducing My Hybrid Creation from DK!

Some of you may remember the little ruby/diamond earrings I added to the Show me your Costco jewelry thread, and my oval lab diamond from Alex Park in Preloved Jewels. Well…. here they are, together for the holidays!
I had no real plans for the diamond when I bought it , and it didn’t find a new home when I offered it here. I adored those little ruby/ diamond earrings and hated that I couldnt see them when I wore them. Well, now I can! Center diamond is 3.28 carat, VS2. IGL graded the color as F. David graded it as G-H. IGL seems overly generous with color and cut grades, IMHO! Ring size of 4 3/4 makes for some serious real estate on the hand. I love the low profile and it’s a really comfortable to wear. I asked for a thin band so that I could wear 2 eternity bands with it on my short little old finger. David was a dream to work with, no surprise there. If you have never worked with David, I’m adding my endorsement to all the other PS members who have been fortunate enough to have him make something for them.

This is so neat! I love that you were able to repurpose the earrings into a ring. It's looks beautiful, please share hand shots if you can. The beautiful red from the rubies, white diamonds and yellow gold certainly fit the season. Happy holidays to you as well! I'm sure this beauty has added to it!
