Intro/ e/w-ring color question

Hello,

First like to introduce myself. As you could probably tell, I to the north of many of the board members. My GF and I have been dating for roughly 4 years and I know she is the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. So…next step is obviously the ring.

Over the past few months I have been hunting through the forum trying to soak up as much knowledge as I could. Have a budget of ~$10,000 ( for both stone and ring) to spend and have narrowed it down to:
Engagement ring: Sleekline Solitaire- Legato
Stone:
Carat- 1.5-1.3ct
Cut- Ideal
Clarity- SI1 (eye-clean)
Color- G-H
I was leaning towards a G at first as I found I could get a stone in my price range around a 1.3ct. However, the more I look I found if I dropped to an H color, I could increase the carat size to ~1.5. So I finally thought I had made my mind up, but then I remembered the wedding band. I was thinking a sleek thin band with small diamonds on it as to not overpower the solitaire. But according to Whiteflash, their wedding bands are made with F-G color. Do you think the colour difference between the H e-ring and F-G w-band would be very noticeable?

Welcome fellow Canadian and congrats on making this important decision.

I think you will be perfectly fine with the F-G diamonds in the band. Most melee used is in the F-G range.

Shouldn''t be, general advice is to keep centre and side stones within 2 colour grades, check with WF concerning your particular ring.
