Intaglio

I just received my grandfather's intaglio.
Now it's time to have it set in a nice ring.
Just thought I would share.
It's about an inch in length and dark reddish brown with a light shining through the bottom.

I'm looking at silver or white gold thick ring, bezel set.
I haven't done a lot of searching on the settings, but I have a general idea of what I want.

Right now I don;t know much about the intaglio, but I'm working on finding some history.
