Intaglio Revisited

I didn''t want to highjack the other thread. I''ve had this ring for longer than 30 yrs and I never knew it was called an Intaglio! I found this ring when I was young and I always thought it was some kind of class ring. Now I know. I don''t know what the center stone is or if it is even stone. It is a very rich brown and the gold looks like it is a rose gold. It looks like a roman soldier with a helmet. Now I will have fun researching intaglios!
