Anyone have any experience insuring a loose stone?
Does anyone have any insurer they like other than Chubb (just to compare)?
I'm having a diamond shipped and having it mounted in Boston, and wondering if I should try to insure it now (apparently difficult) or just wait and have it insured when I'm done.
The diamond is at www.goodoldgold.com. Jonathan's been very helpful, as has this forum. Princess, 1.04 VS1, G. Table 63, depth 74, Crown 12% ~$6400. You can see it at http://www.goodoldgold.com/princess_1_04ct_g_vs1_superb.htm.
A bit pricey for the specs but I'm hoping it's worth it.
Appreciate your help! This forum has been great. Apologize if this is a repost but it didn't fit in the previous categories well...
