Insurance?

Who do you use and if you have had to file a claim regarding your jewelry, how were they to deal with?

I was going to go with State Farm (who I use for my auto and renters insurance) for my e-ring, but now I'm leaning towards Jewelers Mutual. Cost is essentially the same.

Should I ever lose to damage my ring, I just want to go through the least amount of hassle. Don't we all?! LOL I have heard that some companies make you use their sources for stones where other companies let you choose who you deal with and just cut you a check for the insured amount.

Would love to know who you use!

I just added my ering to our house policy. It looks like our company issues you a check.

My DH added mine to the homeowners insurance, but I have been meaning to call the company and find out if they issue a check or find me a "like" replacement. I would prefer to be issued and check so I may switch if ours doesnt do that.
