First off, I want to thank EVERYONE in the PS community for your invaluable source of information on diamonds. I don't know how I would have done it without this website. You guys rock!

I'm pretty confident in my selection as I have been in great hands by the people of GOG (they are amazing!); however, I would appreciate any comments or feedback from the general public.

Anyway, here is the "car" I purchased. What do you guys think? Any concerns, nitpicking, comments, etc. would be appreciated. Thank you!

Beautiful stone! love the H VS2 combo, plus diamonds don't rust like cars.. ;))

Yep, a nice car, a small down payment on a house...sometimes it's hard to swallow, right?

Its a beautiful stone! All the images for it look really nice. Congrats!

Wonderful Stone!
Wonderful Vendor!

Who needs a car?

Prettiest car I've ever seen! ;))

Smart man! Someone is going to be very happy! Great choice on a diamond..it's perfect! I love GOG, too!

Definitely more of a concept car, don't you think?

Anyway, it's beautiful!

You did good. It's a lovely stone.

As everyone knows, a car depreciates the second you take it off the lot. A happy to wife (sorry, assuming an engagement ring here), a happy life. You've made an INVESTMENT in the long term well-being of your married life. Much more valuable than a car!

Great choice :appl:

wonderful stone from wonderful vendor. i did similar purchase just now and would do it again.

do you have the stone? is it not eye clean? btw, do you mind sharing how much was this?

Great thread, I always prefer a gorgeous diamond to a car.:))) Beautiful stone, congrats! What are your plans with it? Someone will be very happy.

   Wooohooo, great choice. :sun:

@Dancing Fire: It won't rust but no "new car smell"!

@tyty333: Thank you! It is tough to swallow but I think it will be worth it :)

@baby monster: Great thread, I'm glad I'm not the only one, LOL.

@kenny, @EvangelineG, @diamondseeker2006, @isaku5, @Gypsy, @thecat, @arkieb1: Thank you!

@LLJsmom: You're right, I can also trade up this "car" for its purchase price for life. What car company will give you that kind of trade-in deal?!

@akoakoako: Congrats on your ring, my diamond is eye clean!

@OVincze: Plan is to set it in a simple pave setting.

Thank you all for your replies, from what I read it doesn't look like there are any glaring issues with this ride, I mean, rock. Yahooo!!! :appl:

Beautiful stone! Congrats on such a wonderful find! Can't wait to see it set. :appl:

Thank you @hearts-arrows_girl!

I would drive that :cheeky:

My fiancée is wearing half of the new Prius I want to get. Maybe next year. Worth it!

Congrats on your new beautiful diamond. :appl:

Yes, it is scary to think about it in those terms isn't it?
Dang, I could have bought a nice new car for what I'm paying for my custom "cut-to-order" 2.30+ F/SI1 CBI too.

HappyNewLife - trade in both e-rings to get a whole Prius

Neverrrrr! I'm like Gollum with my ring. I clean it like 5x a day. My precioussssss...
