Let''s see... Here are the 22K bangles that my mom gave me a few months ago. They were old when they were passed down to her. I love them. And there is an 18K yellow gold jade cabachon rin in there too.
Here''s the ring on the finger. I really love the basket and am thinking of having something similar done in white gold for another cabachon I''ve got.
Necklace and earring set I got as a wedding gift. I''m not into the two tone of it all. It is 18K. So I''m thinking about either selling it, or dipping it so it''s all rhodium plated. I have a couple of better, detail shots of the necklace coming up.
My Turqouise Pendant (and friends). This picture came out hazy, don''t know why. I have three pieces of Turqouise oval cabochon I am waiting to set into earrings and a ring to match it. And I need to replace the bail on it, cause I don''t care for it.
My engagement ring. 1.09 Asscher in platinum halo setting by Ocean Pearlman, through HPD.
My platinum pave wedding band, scott kay through Pearlmans.
My Katzo platinum and diamond earrings through Pearlmans
My Seven Stone heirloom ring, reshanked and rehabbed by HPD.
My Citrine Pear Cocktail Ring -- stone from a gemshow and setting from LanBo4 on ebay
And Last, but never least, my Marguirete Pendant by BDG
The gang is coming along nicely. Depending on how this year goes... there might be additions.
Well, I''m sorry you couldn''t sleep, but I''m glad you decided to take pics! How sweet are your baby bangles!
I''ve got a baby ring on a charm bracelet somewhere.
I''m with you on the two tone necklace just not quite doing it for me. I wonder if it''s the two tone you don''t care for, or the style itself? It seems busier than most of the pieces you seem to gravitate towards.
And have I mentioned how much I love your wedding rings? SO amazingly elegant. Love ''em.
Ok ok - you don''t have to have insomnia, but you could take more pictures and post them - I never get tired of seeing other people''s jewelry. I swear it''s somehow therapeutic. Saves on the Therapy bills.
Thank you. Sorry you couldn''t sleep. However I am very grateful for the pictures!!!
I love your varied collection. I love love love your citrine ring! The colour is amazing. I also love your bangles. I lost my only gold baby bangle when I was about 5 so seeing yours brought back good memories of mine!!!
I adore your wedding set and earrings! I''m thinking of doing a similar halo with plain band for my sapphire but wondered how it would look with a wedding band. I love the way yours looks!
I love my wedding set too. It's fun to wear. I feel glamorous with it on, since I don't wear it 24/7 it looks bigger to me when I do wear it. Perfect DSS cure, don't wear your rings! would look great with a colored stone-- especially your gorgeous sapphire step cut girl. I would love to see that!
My citrine is a lot of fun. And it was a great deal. Can't wait to hit another gem show!
Any ideas on what to do with the plethora of baby bangles? I'm planning on saving two of them. I have two male cousins and which ever has a firstborn daughter I'll give both to her (and just buy new ones for everyone else).
I love it all! You have an eclectic mix of modern pieces (the e-ring, the diamond bands) and antique-ish pieces. Though I suppose there is an antique quality to the modern pieces too... I love it all!
The setting on the cab is to die for by the way. Replicate it baby!
... I''m working on getting me a diamond bracelet in the next couple of months. Let''s see if I can swing it. All my jewelry is at the bank today... cause hubby remembered today that he forgot to pay my insurance bill ... months ago. It''s one of the few bills that''s not electronically deducted. So... none of it is insured anylonger. Lovely. All my bling except my wedding band is locked away in prison. Being robbed once makes you paranoid. I''ve got to figure out my insurance... I''m not sure if Chubb will reinstate as they aren''t doing my type of insurance anymore. Love my hubby but I coulda hurt him when he told me he forgot to pay the premiums.
Gypsy,
I love the 22kt bangles your mom gave you. You MUST post them in the Jewellery section of PS where ABGF created a thread just for high karat gold.
