I saw my diamond in jewelry lighting and it turns dark in that lighting. But in regular daylight, it looks fine. Any insights on specs from the GIA report that might be causing this affect would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nice specs on that one.... ideal cut rounds appear "dark" under high + strong direct Light (spot light, sun) so it's normal....

Thanks for your input. Glad to know the specs are fine. I traded in my 1.5ct lab grown to 1.07ct mined and just wanted to be sure I made the right choice on specs because the diamond sparkled fine everywhere else :)

Hello and welcome to PriceScope, kBY!
Agreed that the specs on paper look great.
Does it ever appear to go cloudy, milky, hazy, or blurry in any lighting conditions (especially sunlight)?

I don't think so? But I would have to look around and find examples so I can compare mine. Here are a few photos in slightly different lighting. 20250314_162221.jpg20250314_162213.jpg20250314_162210.jpg20250314_162102.jpg20250314_162059.jpg

I don't think you have anything to worry about - it looks great! Congrats on your new diamond!

I think it looks very beautiful as well - enjoy!
