Depends on what browser/system you're using and where the photo is. The easiest and cross-platform way is to link to a photo posted on a website by clicking on the mountain icon next to the crossed out U and the green ball with the chain. Then paste the link for the photo in the dialog box. You can often get the picture url by .. right-clicking?? for pcs (maybe wrong), or holding down the ctrl key while clicking with a mac. For me that gets a menu with a 'copy image address' option.
I seem to remember seeing on another platform a button for uploading a picture from your desktop. anyone?
LOL I''m trying to insert a picture of an e-ring that my son and I "created" to a post in the e-ring thread, and it doesn''t seem to be happening. I use explorer, and the picture is in .jpg format. ........ and I don''t have a clue as to what you were talking about
Attaching a file should make it show up in the body of a post IF the following conditions are met:
1. the file is less than 100kb (If you right click on the file and then click properties it will tell you how big your file is)
2. the file name has to be unique. If you're calling it ring.jpg then 10 to 1 that name has already been used. Try something like tjjessie1ring.jpg
3. There can't be any spaces or punctuation type characters in the file name.
If your photo is online somewhere then you can use the "insert image" button (button that looks like a mountain with a sun over it) on the reply panel and then just enter the url of where your photo is.
The profile pic was insterted and the face on pic was attached.
