The only thing I am a little concerned about with the WF stones are the color.. i went to a local diamond dealer today and looked at some H and I diamonds and could really see the "yellow" tint in them.. so now this worries me a little

Either of those from WF would be beautiful!

The main problem to me is that they have tables big enough to land a C-130 on. That means
at certain angles you just see a lot of glare instead of facets. If you look at the WF stones they
have much smaller tables. Also the shapes of the tables on the JA stones, since they are so
large, are very square. They dont have lovely angles to them (except the one I picked out)
which is still on the lage size.

My preference is still the solasfera from GOG - its a great G colour, nice clarity at VS1 and it even has med fluorescence!!

Will you notice the 0.4/0.3mm size different when compared to a 1ct-er? Maybe, but because you are under the 1ct mark, it's priced accordingly

Will you notice how bright and sparkly the stone is compared to any other princess cut out there? Absolutely

were you looking at ideal cut diamonds? also keep in mind the lighting really effects the color-personally I find diamonds look more tinted in jewelry store spotlighting

My pick would be the 1.028 ct H VS2 A CUT ABOVE® Super Ideal Princess Cut Diamond from WF
Visually its very nice, it appeals to be more than the others. Also its got a nice ASET and color/clarity points. Its also a bit bigger than the other WF and your GF will also get the say that shes got a 1ct. So if you can stretch for it thats my pick.

Going to an H in color is worth it if you can get an ACA from Whiteflash. If you are worried about the color have them send it to you to approve before you have it set. (you will have to purchase it and then ship it back to them to set) But I would be happy with an H. The ACAs are beautiful. I have one in a K. It shows color but an H is much whiter and I wouldn't mind the color.
