Inner ring shape

Hi everyone,

I have spent hours and hours on this site and pinning rings, in order to guide my design for an e-ring for my gf. True to my nature, I am working on every detail, and am currently on the inside of the ring. I've tried to search for the names of the inner ring shapes, but have come up empty handed.

I know the complete circle is called a circle lol, but what is it called when it comes to a point at the top on the inside of the ring?

More importantly, has anyone worn such a ring? Is it comfortable? Not comfortable? Your input would be most appreciated!

Hi piwo - not completely sure what you mean - do you have an example? Are you asking about the shape of the band?

Thanks for your reply! Yeah, I'm finding it tricky to describe. I've attached a photo of a Coast ring to help describe: notice how on the inside of the band, the top meets as a point - that's what I'me referring to.
