I found this chain at an antiques store and it spoke to me so I bought it. The tag says it was Italian made but that’s all they know.

Clasp reads 1/20 14kt GF which I know means 14kt gold filled — it is a vivid rose gold color. Another thread suggested that gold filled was common in Edwardian and Victorian times - can anyone confirm?

Chain appears to be a fine (not chunky) link style with stationary beads every 3/4” or so. Can anyone tell me more about it. Approximate age based on the style?

Yes, gold filled was common at that time, but I don't think it is antique. The style more 1980s-90s.
It's the clasp that looks too modern. Below are antique spring ring clasps. The lever should be more of a tab or ball shape, rather than a loop, which makes me think your chain is newer.

Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge!

It is a new interest of mine but I am loving learning and finding pieces that speak to me.

I love gold filled jewelry because you can get the look without the price tag and it wears better than plated IMO. Pretty chain!
