Does the plumb designation apply to jewelry from India?

We have a 22K gold bracelet from India. It is stamped "22K".

We were thinking about selling it for the value of the gold. I want to know if it 22K or 21.5K.

The plumb designation is assigned in India also but the market niche is very low. You need to be in specific areas of Mumbai and Bangalore to get these designations. Make your search before you attempt to sell.
