Independent appraisal with diamond purchase

I just received my diamond that I purchased from Whiteflash and it came with an independent appraisal. Should I go get another appraisal or can I trust the one that came with it as accurate?

By the way the diamond looks really nice.

I'm sure that the diamond you bought is very beautiful. An appraisal given to you by the seller is not independent. Some people are more particular and want to have someone independent look at the stone, verify that it matches the diamond grading report, inform you of any possible durability issues, etc.

You will need a new appraisal for replacement cost of the mounted diamond and setting.
