Hello, I would appreciate some advice on the following inclusions and how they will impact a diamond.
I have seen the following on some GIA reports I have looked at.

Indented Naturals
Feathers
Clouds
Crystals

Also: Twinning wisps are not shown.
Surface graining not shown.

Thanks for the help in understanding the impact these have on the diamond quality.

The lab is GIA and the clarity grade is SI1.
The diamond is a round brilliant, G color 1.50 carat, very good cut, measuring 7.34 X7.36 X4.53, no fluor,
polish excellent, symmetry very good, cost $15,000.
HCA score is 0.8

Can you post the GIA report number?

The inclusions are listed in the same order as on the report?

Inclusions are listed as follows:
Twinning wisps are not shown
Surface graining is not shown
Feather
Indented Natural

My concerns are that if the twinning wisps and surface graining aren't shown, how can I tell the extent of them and whether
they affect the quality of the stone.
Not sure how to assess how the indented natural affects quality.
Should I look for a diamond without these?

These are the inclusions listed under the inclusion map?

SI1 should not be a problem to the durability of the stone. If worried, get an independent appraiser of your hire to look at the stone loose, no way to tell from just the grading report.

Whenever they list things that "not shown" it means that they are so tiny or insignifigant that they will be near impossible to see. IMO looking for clouds (clear/white) or twinning wisps are the best type of inclusions. You can have clouds or twinning wisps and you still struggle to find and see them even with a loop.

As far as durability, keep in mind that diamonds are the hardest natural substance found in nature. Stones go through a lot of abuse and vibrations when they are cut and polished, so unless you are really rough and abussive with your stone then you really shouldn't have to worry (but things do happen.
