I realize that most smaller stores really can''t afford to have several hundred thousand dollars worth of diamonds sitting in their store waiting for someone to come in and shop around, but how do I find local stores that have SOME ec stones for me to see?

Many of you have suggested that I make a point of seeing as many diamonds as I can so that I can find one that I truely love and all that jazz..but that''s hard to do when everyone has virtual inventory!

Help!

if you are just looking to get familiar with the different cuts, colors, etc... then I would go to your local jewelry stores to view diamonds. Sometimes they will have a few on hand, but your best bet is to either call ahead, tell them what it is you want to see, or go in, meet them to be sure you like them, and then ask them to order in some stones for you.

happy looking!
