Import duties from Japan for jewelry? (not political, please)

Hi, has anyone recently bought from Japanese ebay and can share the current import duties/tariffs for Japan that they're actually paying for a US customer? I had one piece before this even started where I ended up having to pay about 10%, so I wanted to see if anyone has made a recent purchase. I've seen so much conflicting information online, and then new developments, I'm just looking for actual experiences or a resource to calculate. Thanks.

Is there a US website you can check? The latest info I can find is that’s it’s 15%.
In Australia we also have to pay a processing fee on top of the actual duty.

It’s dredging up all these old articles and then new ones of the deal, so I’m struggling to figure it out and if I should wait for a purchase or not.

Currently the rate is 10% (as you mention)

As of August 1st, this will be 25% - 10% universal duty + 15% tariff for Japan specifically

Basically. Technically, it needs to be invoiced and on its way before that, but that is rolling the dice depending on the knowledge and awareness of the CBP folks that get your package. And understandably with the changing policies regarding tariffs, sometimes it's not as consistently applied as you'd hope it could be, and it's a nightmare to dispute.
