Hi diamond experts,
I am imminently about to purchase this:
Summary:
2.532 ct H SI1 Whiteflash ACA Hearts and Arrows Super Ideal Round Cut Diamond
. Shape: Round
. Carat: 2.532
. Depth %: 62
. Table %: 56.1
. Crown Angle: 34.8
. Crown %: 15.2
. Star : 54
. Pavilion Angle: 40.9
. Pavilion %: 43.2
. Lower Girdle %: 76
. Girdle: Thin to Medium
. Measurements: 8.71-8.73X5.40
. Light Performance: 0
. Polish: Ideal
. Symmetry: Ideal
. Culet: Pointed
. Fluorescence: None
- I have never purchased a diamond before, let alone over the Internet
- I want something in the 2.5ct range or higher, H&A, white to the naked eye (IE: cannot see yellow from side view) and inclusions invisible from the top table view and from the side view (eye clean will do top and side)
I have spoken to a consultant at Whiteflash who was very helpful and has recommended this item .. It has been stated the item is in the top half of H and that it is eye clean, it was also mentioned that there are clouds, but there is no ''sheen'' - it appears crisp and clear and sharp.
My problem is that without seeing the item it is very difficult to give the go ahead ... Do you think it is risky to purchase H SI1 with these expectations? Should I be looking in the G / VS range?
Based on this, is it reasonable to expect a white piece with no yellow tint and no visible inclusions upon close inspection?
Any thoughts?
Thank you in advance ...
