I just completed a year-long intensive certification course for my career and after all of that hard work I decided I deserved a tangible reward 
. I was browsing at my local jewelers and saw a beautiful vintage reproduction ring; it was the elongated style that I have always coveted but there wasn't much life in the diamonds. A quick conversation with my jeweler and we agreed we'd have him remake it for me with some tweaks to the design as well as G/VS1 diamonds.
Here's the original ring and the CADs I just received with my version
. The original had a yellow gold shank and a more oval-ish ends; I had them make the shank with rose gold and more curvy ends. I also asked them to add milgrain to the edges.
I should have the finished ring around the end of the month!
