Hello All!

This is my very first post although I feel as if I know so many of you. I''ve lurked for years and never actually had a reason/question to post because I''ve always been able to find answers and help by just reading. I was recently married and got so many ideas and inspiration from seeing all of your pictures and reading your posts so I thought I should post a few pics in hopes of giving some other lurker ideas and just to say thank you! I look forward to posting more on this community since everyone seems so wonderful and helpful!

Our wedding was in July and was VERY small and intimate (25 people). It was the best day of my life to date!

for all your kind words!

I probably should have waited, but these are pretty much the best of what I''ve got. I haven''t gotten my pro pics yet (my fault) and these are ones my brother took (aspiring photographer). I promise to post more when I get them! Thanks again for looking and for your kind words!

I had a question for you.. how did your sand ceremony work out for you? I bought that exact same set... we were planning on doing our two plus the officiant was going to pour the white sand from his in first... Did you guys use three types of sand or just two and was there room in that thing for all of it?

Gorgeous!! I love your gown

We only did 2 sands, not 3. It worked out well. Both of our individual vases were full before we poured and it completely filled the heart vase. If you are going to use the 3rd, I''d suggest not completely filling up the other 2 individual vases unless you don''t mind there being some left in them after the heart vase is full. Funny thing...I was pouring waaaay faster than DH (I was nervous) and I finished waaaay before him so we have a huge black blob (his sand was black & mine was lavender) at the top where he finsihed it. Oh well, I''m glad we did the sand vs the candle thing. I was too worried about the wind blowing the candles out.

Thank you Sarah!

I loved it too! We planned the whole wedding in 2.5 weeks and it almost didn''t make it in time. I ordered it online since they didn''t have it in the store and just *hoped* I loved it as much in person as I did online and that it wouldn''t need any alterations. Initally it was backordered but everything ended up working out perfectly.

Thank you! That's so good to know. I had no idea how that was going to work out! I'm doing it for the same reasons you did.. I don't want the wind to blow the candles out... I'll have to let my officiant know to not pour a lot. I'm going to be using lavendar for mine as well and FI will be using Dark Blue.
