That is terrible! Yes I included the RF and the US. I am so sorry it shows invalid.

Thanks, I'm just going to have to see if it gets there. The jeweler emailed me today to say he has not gotten it yet. (It's going straight up and not across the country).

IT FINALLY ARRIVED! Now just to wait until my beauty returns. Thanks for all the well wishes.

I'm so happy it finally turned up! Registered is so slow, and tracking is not at all accurate (which is annoying considering how much you pay for it).

I second WInk's advice for the future. That is the way I do it. I'd rather get a prepaid label and add it on to my bill. It doesn't usually cost a whole lot more than Registered would have....

I am glad your package arrived! It certainly can take that long. I actually thought a claim couldn't be made until 30 days had passed, but apparently it is 15?

Registered Mail shows very little tracking. It shows when it is accepted and when it is delivered. However, I have found that if I send Priority and Registered, the tracking is a little better (since Priority does provide tracking) even though it doesn't change the speed of delivery at all.

It is extremely rare for a registered package to be lost. People freak out when delivery is delayed, but of all the threads I have seen here, the package always arrives eventually!
