I just wanted to say thank you to those of you who helped me in this process. The proposal went pefectly and my new fiance is as happy as can be. I''ve attached a photo from the trip I took her on. I woke her up on Saturday morning at 5am and asked her to quickly pack her bags. We went down to the Caribbean for 5 days and I proposed on the first night. She was very surprised not just by the trip but also by the proposal, because when I woke her up I told her the trip was an anniversary present (our 4yr anniversary is next week). Anyway, it was just perfect.

I got it from BN and was very happy with the customer service. The stone looks great and the setting is very simple. We may switch to a Vatche setting cause that is the one I wanted for her originally. Although, she likes the simple Tiffany's style so far, so we'll see after we check out the Vatche in person. I may get it appraised sometime soon just to double check the numbers and get a little peace of mind.

Thats gorgeous! I love the size too! What size is her finger? She might surprise you though & keep the ring as is but opt for a more elaborate wedding band. I know that I wasnt going to take my ring off for nothing.
