Hey everyone!! I feel like such a stranger here now it's been so long since I have posted and lurked around.
Since the engagement on Oct 17th, I have been addicted to things like bridal magazines (more than before) and TheKnot.com, and so I haven't been around too much here. Wedding planning consumes me just as much as the engagement ring hunt did! A lot has come together, but with 8 months left - still a LOT to do!
But of course when it comes to looking for WEDDING BANDS, I need to come back to my old stomping grounds and check out what is happening and who has what and see what I want.
I really would like the matching band to my Verragio Euro setting (with 3 rounds and 4 small tapered baguettes)- but it's another $2000 for it. DOH! So, either I find someone who can match it exactly and spend who knows how much, or go with something simpler and not as dramatic. I was thinking of a simple platinum band with 3 diamonds tension set to be low enough not to block the side view of my E-ring.
And I also thought of a band to match whatever he gets. Too many decisions!
I would like my fiance, Nick, to have a platinum band with two lines (one near the top and one near the bottom) engraved all the way around and one diamond bezel set into it. Round or other, I am not sure.
We ALWAYS talk about engagement rings here - but can we see pics of peoples wedding bands with and without diamonds??? I feel so out of the loop just cause I already have my E-ring. I wanna be back!!!
I have missed you guys and hope to be able to get some advice from my buds!
