IGL grading

I wondered if any of you know anything about IGL grading system. A local jeweler in town has a ring with IGL grading.

We're not familiar with them, but a good way to determine how the jeweler feels about them is to suggest that the sale of the diamond be contingent on GIA or AGSL verification of the characteristics... If the jeweler starts to stammer and look dizzy then it is a pretty good indication that he doesn't think that the IGL grading practices are up to par...
