IGI does these certs for very little money and that is just about what they are worth to consumers. Labs have a lot of overhead and great quality reports or appraisals cost too much for mass marketing games. CAREFULLY read the very fine print on the back of these documents and you will see why.
Chain merchandisers have found this system very attractive. I can't say I blame them for liking this method as it works very well. Sophisticated buyers find many better ways to make similar purchases, however.
