Oooo... If I had 15K right now I would "scratch" my marquise "itch."
I would get this 7 carat tw eternity band.
Or this 3 carat marquise L colored ER that was auctioned a few weeks ago but I would turn back time and buy it.
Or this ruby/diamond Oscar Heyman ring.
Or this vintage white gold Rolex with MOP face and sapphire markers.

I voted for biggest and best rb diamond studs I can afford for 15K. Probably 2 crew minimum. The only studs I own are 0.5ctw MMD studs and 0.88 ctw J color Brian Gavin studs....my pendant is over 1ct, and my rings too, so time for earring upgrade for sure!

I've been waffling over this for the better part of two years... Can't make up my mind... Wanted to invest the bigger chunk into my kiddo's horse riding / jumping dream... Which got cancelled because of Covid... Vaccillating between having as much cash as possible in my accounts because of Covid and the very palpable slowing of the economy. .. And just going for more bling..

The list I've been contemplating:

- Cartier Juste un clou with pavé accents bracelet for my stack: been in looooove with this for YEARS now. Can't get over the price of 13 k for gold and less than 1 ctw of diamonds.
This would be a "wear every day, never take of, don't mind the scratches " type of jewellery.

- Aca or hpd line bracelet - same use: every day, all day never take off piece. Ctw as high as budget allows

OR:
Get a plain JUC (6 k) and a middle of the road line bracelet (maybe preloved or even antique... 5-6 k is doable) ...
Spend rest on antique piece from an auction:
-daisy cluster ring made of early wonky oecs/oecs
- coloured stone cluster with very high table, wonky oecs.
- oec earrings
-low ctw line necklace
Or an XXL Cartier Trinity (have loved this for some years , but nearly 3 k for plain gold gives me pause...)

This is my thinking too...but with OEC studs. Maybe Lab OECs. I am still mulling it over.

I would buy four French cut eternity bands - one diamonds, one blue sapphires, one rubies, one emeralds.
Then I would add - one yellow sapphires, one pink sapphires and one purple sapphires - just to round out the rainbow (have never been a big fan of orange coloured stones - no idea why)... but I’m sure once I had the rest of the rainbow it would stand out as a missing spectrum.
(Hey I would take all those colours in diamonds too but I will save that for the 100,000 thread lol).
I would prefer to buy the bands over big stones rings that would sit in my jewlery box and not get worn.

As you know! I have a 2.947 I color SI1 ACA, I would upgrade to a G color and go with as much weight as it would get me.. I love my ring, but maybe I would like it to be a bit less yellow(ish) altho it only happens on certain lighting environments or lack of light.. but in reality I'd pay my son's bills from my DIL's operation and his dog was in the hospital for eating 2 boxes of raisins and he's got a huge bill, and we have helped him with other bills for pup and cat so hubster said, no. xo

I'd use the $15K plus throw in about $10K of my own to upgrade my current 2 ctw CBI diamonds studs to 3 ctw D VVS2-VS1s.

Or, I'd use the $15K plus about $5K of my own to have Victor Canera make an emerald cut eternity band for me.

I’d do one of two things, either upgrade my ACA (currently in a pendant) to around the 2ct mark in a ring, or buy some VCA,

There are actually two options on my list and I'm crazy about both of them. The real challenge would be deciding which one I'd get.

1. @diamondseeker2006 gorgeous OEC in a CvB casablanca.


2. Jasmine Jade Boutique 's personal emerald ring.

4. An upgrade to my e-ring :
I really want a 4 carat ring but with 4 stones so around 1 carat each.
My choice for the 4 stones would either be 4 AVC, 4 square emerald cuts from Yoram or blend of 2 of each stone. Each stone 6 x 6 ideally...I imagine they would all be on the warm side but I am okay with that.
Another thought would be two square emerald with two trapezoid french cuts all cut by Yoram.

Anything by Yoram is DIVINE.
