How long did it take to get it, or at least get the proofs to approve it?

My photog. had our proofs online 2 weeks after the wedding (in July), and when I ordered prints, they came within a week. But although she mentioned that albums might take a while, I still kinda feel like I should have it by now. Am I just being impatient, or do most photogs take this long to create an album (it''s a cofeetable book in case you''re wondering)?

I don''t know what''s normal but I know it took one of my friends 4 months and another 8 months to get their albums. But not sure if that was because they were slow in approving things or the photog was slow, or a combo of both...

It took us forever to choose the pictures to have in the album, but we sent them about two weeks ago and he said he''d try to have it ready for Christmas, so about 2 months. It seems reasonable to me.

How long have you been waiting?

DH and I have a large album of individually matted photos - some are 5x7s and some are 8x10s. We have 100 images in the album.

Our photographer took 3 weeks to post proofs of our wedding, it took me about a week to choose which photos I wanted in the album, and it took six weeks to get my completed album for my photographer.

I think it also depends on what kind of album you are buying - I''ve heard flush mount albums take less time.
