If only she would mount my stone..

I found a setting I really like for a pinkish pear that is just a shade smaller than this one Simple, thin, elegant

But, I would love it in rose gold, and she does not mount customer''s stones.

Anyone doing something similar? The idea is to mount the pear so that its easy to stack with some vintage slim bands, and have it bezel set so I don''t damage it at work.

Have you tried Julia Kay Taylor? Other PSers rave about her and she does exquisite bezels... that setting is not a unique idea so it would not be copying in my opinion. And she sets other people''s diamonds!

Heart of Water on Etsy also does a lovely job. I've worked with Jula Kay and she's great too. Your best bet is to ask on Colored stones, they are really knowledgeable in affordable settings in rose gold over there. I think your ring is going to be lovely.

ETA: For that price... I'd call around, James Meyer or Caleb Meyer too. They do lovely work. Or can recommend someone who can do what you want if they can't. Both very talented.

Wow .. the price seems high for what it is. Definetly try the other vendors recommended above.

If you really like her, perhaps get the setting made and mount it locally even though I feel it is probably not worth it.

Thanks! I will gladly follow all leads on this...the last thing I want is a chunky bezel or band...I have some nice thin rings I want to stack with it.

I think the price reflects the .70ct diamond in it.

I wonder why she won''t set customers diamonds. Maybe its an insurance issue.
