If one of the flaws is a "chip"

Reviewing a listing of a stone which is a VVS1 that only has two flaws. One is a pinpoint and the other is labeled a "chip" that is a tiny red mark right on the girdle. How big of deal is that vs an "indented natural". It sounds bothersome, but of course it would be placed under a prong. Would that be a deal breaker or not?

Probably shouldn't cause a structural issue in a vvs1 stone. However I don't like chips and the price would have to be adjusted accordingly before I would consider it.

at vvs1 everything would be very minute of course. and pose no risk to structure or beauty. It's just an undesirable clarity characteristic and may trade 2-5% discount over a stone that doesn't have this clarity characteristic.

Greatleo, thanks for the further clarification about the clarity rating with that flaw and for explaining how the price would be impacted. :)
