If I had the money, I'd...

Get a big honkin' OEC that faces up white and has dazzling light performance and put it in the Vatche Swan. Get an AVR riviera necklace. Put them on, kick back and call it a day.

I mean, I guessssss I could be convinced to buy a big tsavorite in a halo setting. DBL has this one that looks pretty magical:

Except BIGGER!

And have a lime green diamond like Kenny's except bigger.

Also swanky sapphire earrings with sapphires the same color as my e-ring for fancy occasions.

Not jewelry-related - have enough money so my fiance and I could work whatever jobs we wanted without having to worry about the financial aspect of our lives. That would make us sooooooo much happier. And a personal chef - that would make us sooooo much healthier.

Buy the house my grandparents had built by a neat architect, that is my favorite house of ever, and redecorate it to full awesomeness. (Almost the entire interior was originally painted turquoise - with red carpet - and the new owners painted it WHITE with TAN carpet. TRAVESTY OF INTERIOR DECORATING. The entire purpose of that house is to be BOLD! and BRIGHT! and IN YOUR FACE! and it was so amazing that way. Now they are making it boring and blah. Meh. I did repeatedly tell my grandparents that I only wanted to inherit two things - the leather bound book collection and the house. But apparently giving the house to me would have showed favoritism. Even though I'm obviously the favorite grandchild. I did get the books though.)

An AVR riviera? Niiiiiiice. And a haloed tsav is another delicious choice.

If I remember correctly, you're in DFW right? Is that where your grandparents house is? Sounds so special. My parents also live in a house by a significant architect. Thankfully they've preserved and even enhanced it beautifully. If they move I'll be heartbroken. I love that house so much.

Blig wise--I'd find a good sized tsavorite and set it in a platinum halo.

other-wise, I'd get my sister in law to a great doctor who could get her health under control. She's ill and working poor--and doesn't have acess to good dctors.

Then I would buy my son a new car.
Oh goodness how tough for your sister! I'm going to have to add to my dream list helping those without access to good health care. It's a travesty. I hope she finds a solution. Dust.

If I had the money, I'd...

* pay off all my debt (student loans, mortgage, etc.)
* move to Hawaii
* upgrade my ring to a 3 ct. D IF asscher in the same BGD setting
* get some 2+ ct. OEC studs

And just smile all day long! :naughty:
Yes. How could you do anything but smile in that case? But asschers face up small. Maybe a 4 carat? You do have the absolute perfect asscher setting IMO.

Ok...a 4 ct. it is. My ring size is 4.25, though. You don't think that would be too much, do you? I mean, I guess I could learn to live with it... :naughty:

Not too much at all... Plus in Hawaii you'll want your arms looking their best so lifting the extra weight will just help make you tank top ready!

I'd buy three houses/paid off: one in our current area, cabin in mountains for DH/Kids/snow activities, house on tropical beach to lay around and read in beach chair and walk on beach.

Then 1.5 ctw studs for diamonds. Lots of fun eng rings that I can switch around. I'm not into big stones so I'd just buy lots and lots of .75ish stones in different cuts and settings.

Plus a chef, maid, and gardener for my three houses.

New cars for DH and Me

Pre-paid scholarships to the University for both boys

A lover for my cat. He's been asking for a friend. He's fixed, so they would just remain friends. Playtonic kitty lovers.

oooh, so much more...

This is making me want to go buy a lotto ticket ;))

 That is awesome.

OK, so we are talking winning 100 mil or thereabouts?
I'd buy everything off my jewelry and handbag wish list, except bigger and better. I'd also buy a tiara. :D
I'd also buy a nicer house on more land, a nice house for everyone in the family, and holiday houses in Hawaii, France, New Zealand, and South Africa.
I'd have a chef, trainer, maid, and butler. I'm not sure what the butler would do, but I've always wanted one.
I'd donate a bunch to my usual charities.
I'd buy one of those $6000 hypoallergenic cats. I miss having a cat, but hubs is allergic.

If I had a ridiculous amount of money, I'd hire a chef and a trainer, and buy a few houses houses (a vacation house in a tropical location, maybe one in Europe [that's my husband's dream], and a year-round house for us here).

Oh no! Are the hypoallergenic cats really THAT expensive? That is insane! Yikes.

I can't get another cat unless I trade in my current one. DH says so. He only says that because our cat won't cuddle with him very often and DH anticipates if we adopt another, that one will also not cuddle with him. I almost got a second black cat thinking DH wouldn't notice that there were two of them. I'd just tell him he's imagining things if he noticed them in the same room. hahaha

 "No, there is just one cat, time for your meds."

Here is the website for the hypoallergenic cats. http://www.allerca.com/html/hypoallergenic.html
I see there is one for $19,950, and I want it!

Edit: Oh my goodness! They are ON SALE right now. Might have to talk to hubs.

re: hypoallergenic cats - one of my close friends is allergic to cats and engaged to a cat-lover, but they managed to find a cat at a shelter that doesn't set off her allergies. They've had it since the beginning of the summer and so far so good. So apparently she's just allergic to the vast majority of cats. Buuuuuuuut she was willing to go to shelters every weekend and pet a million cats until she found one that worked, so that may not work in your situation depending on your husband.
