If I had the money, I'd...

Oh, frequent get-togethers with all our PS friends would be great!!!

But bling related, let's see (and this is assuming we live in the same place, etc.):

1) 2 ct. AVR, H VS1, old style

2) 1 ct each OEC/AVR studs or leverbacks (and RB, I think that would be my max size as well, although I am totally happy with my .8 each ACA studs which I will keep)

3) a few pieces made by Victor Canera including a cross like he currently has for sale on his site!

4) antique cushion or AVC

5) great colored stone to go in my #3 Beaudry setting

6) either a 5 stone ring or eternity, maybe AVR's

7) WF ACA diamond tennis bracelet (I already have one but it is pre-PS)

Oh, and I'd just have fun buying random designer pieces that are great deals on ebay!

Some of these are probably going to happen over time, but some will just be reduced in size a bit! ;))

...I'd move somewhere warm and never EVER have to shovel snow again! If I needed snow, I'd shave icecubes and look at a calendar!! We had yet ANOTHER 15cm today... more predicted by the weekend... get me outta this place!!! ;( ;( ;(

...and with the *REST* of my money... I'd be sure that our financial affairs were totally in order for a VERY comfortable retirement; travel to the originals of history - Greece, Turkey, Italy, Israel; hire a personal trainer to get me into awesome shape (but only if I want to exercise, they'd be fired if they pushed me too hard  ) and now... to the "Bling-mobile, Batman"....

I'd halo a HUGE coloured diamond!!! not sure about which shape or colour, but it would have the TEENIEST TINIEST claw prongs (but be structurally safe and sound, of course); I'd have an AVC 3 stone of min. 1ct each stone - MINIMUM!; I think a 3 stone necklace would be sort of perfect - horizontal, not vertical; and I'm kinda itchin' for a diamond bangle bracelet.

Ah, that would be my warm up shopping trip. I'd play with those for a while, then I'd see what my next whim was!

Excellent - you can be my mega wealthy friend who takes me on lunch dates and showers me with expensive jewellery presents "just because." :naughty:

Ooh, big house in a part of London I can't afford, with a long drive and half an acre of land. :appl:

HI:

Yes, we'd have tea everyday at your place, then off to Smythson and Theo Fennel. Sound like a plan?

cheers--Shaorn
Tea for three please! :) and I'd like to rotate wearing your radiant, Sharon, or your three stone, Rosetta!

Ooh yes. I would hold an annual London GTG weekend, complete with catering from all my fave restaurants, full contingent of staff and daily chauffeur driven limos to all the top jewellery stores. I only stipulate that all of you bring your jewels and cameras with you. Dont worry, you'll all stay in one of my fabulous guest bedrooms and your non-jewellery-loving spouses will be amply looked after by my husband, who has organised rounds of golf, track racing in super cars, front row sets at the opera and latest theatre. At night, all your jewels will be safe in my super secret vault (where they will also stay whilst we are are sipping drinks at the exclusive spa I've booked for your facial/massage/pedicure/wrap). And when you leave, you will squeal in glee when you see your jewellery in the exquisite Smythson jewellery case I've given you as a memento of our wonderful time together ("that Rosetta, boy does she know how to throw a party!")

Now, I bet all of you now want me to win that lottery :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

I just looked up the VC cross. Beautiful! I've been stalking this one at LM for ages:

I think it is so exquisite.

I would also do a tennis bracelet but alternating rounds (ACAs please) and east west set marquises. Like the chain on this Bayco necklace:

Oh Enerchi, I have already bought 20 acres of land to build 3 HUGE mansions for Ginger, you and me. And enough land for all our animals to live in happiness and good health :) Oh, and within equal lengths of our houses, I have built a building that houses all our bling that can be readily used whenever your heart desires. It only has the best lighting, and is in the area with the most sunlight.

I definitely have on my lotto list a gorgeous oval 1.5 ct ish pink diamond in a Victor Canera halo. Gives me shivers just thinking about it!

...buy a new 4 bedroom house with 3 full baths and a finished basement in a great school district

...get a new car

...hire a nanny

...get a new platinum setting with nice claw prongs for my 3 stone e-ring

Pay off student loans

Quit my job and focus on school and wedding planning

Pay off my parents' house and the house of my fiance's parents

Buy a home and a new car

Buy a huge OEC

Oh Laila, your bezeled three stone has been in my inspiration folder since I first saw it! It's so beautiful! But I'm sure claw prongs would be lovely too.

:appl: :appl: :appl: Rosetta, GTG in London sounds awesome!! Can't wait for your lottery win!! DUST it's real soon! :appl:

And YT, were gonna be neighbors w a shared vault with JG! We can host a Perth GTG that we fly to after Rosetta's London one! Oooooh, I'm squealing with anticipation of meeting all the PSERS and trying on all the jewels! :naughty:  That should really help with our many shopping lists --- deciding what to purchase next!

What is this "old style" AVR? You were talking about this in another thread and I meant to ask about it. Old style new style, what, when did this happen, and what's the difference?

I'd buy a sapphire three stone ring - cushion cut sapphire with half moon diamond sides. And then I would take it to Hawaii for a vacation.

Get a big honkin' OEC that faces up white and has dazzling light performance and put it in the Vatche Swan. Get an AVR riviera necklace. Put them on, kick back and call it a day.

I mean, I guessssss I could be convinced to buy a big tsavorite in a halo setting. DBL has this one that looks pretty magical:

r4200sf.jpg

Except BIGGER!

And have a lime green diamond like Kenny's except bigger.

Also swanky sapphire earrings with sapphires the same color as my e-ring for fancy occasions.

Not jewelry-related - have enough money so my fiance and I could work whatever jobs we wanted without having to worry about the financial aspect of our lives. That would make us sooooooo much happier. And a personal chef - that would make us sooooo much healthier.

Buy the house my grandparents had built by a neat architect, that is my favorite house of ever, and redecorate it to full awesomeness. (Almost the entire interior was originally painted turquoise - with red carpet - and the new owners painted it WHITE with TAN carpet. TRAVESTY OF INTERIOR DECORATING. The entire purpose of that house is to be BOLD! and BRIGHT! and IN YOUR FACE! and it was so amazing that way. Now they are making it boring and blah. Meh. I did repeatedly tell my grandparents that I only wanted to inherit two things - the leather bound book collection and the house. But apparently giving the house to me would have showed favoritism. Even though I'm obviously the favorite grandchild. I did get the books though.)

Blig wise--I'd find a good sized tsavorite and set it in a platinum halo.

other-wise, I'd get my sister in law to a great doctor who could get her health under control. She's ill and working poor--and doesn't have acess to good dctors.

Then I would buy my son a new car.

Cool and classy indeed! What an incredible thing to do. I grew up in Dallas so I'm familiar with their extraordinary generosity.

If I had the money, I'd...

* pay off all my debt (student loans, mortgage, etc.)

* upgrade my ring to a 3 ct. D IF asscher in the same BGD setting
* get some 2+ ct. OEC studs

And just smile all day long! :naughty:
