Ideas needed - what to make with a 1.2F RB?

So now that I finally got a 2ct, I'm totally neglecting "everyone" else in the jewelry box. I'm pretty certain I'm never going to wear the 1.2 solitaire again. I seriously considered putting it up for consignment with GoG but I can't part with it, I just can't

So I'm thinking about making it into something that I'd wear. I really love Mayk's cushion halo but I worry that I'd still be wearing the 2ct. Then my husband suggested pendant. I used to wear a bezel on a 15inch chain but I didn't like wearing it with diamond earrings (too much going on above the shoulder). I know I like the looks of lariat and halos.

I reset my 1.08 diamond in a prong set bezel slide from Stuller. It is on an 18" wheat chain. I love it and most times don't take it off. Sometimes, I also wear my 1.50 tcw earrings. I don't think it's too much.

I had a stone set in a milgrain bezel, but I am going to reset into a halo or larger setting. The old diamond I had was not ideal cut, and I had it recut before setting it.

Ooops, I meant pendant!!! Mine is only .80, but with a 2 ct. e-ring, I'd still probably halo a 1.2. I have been saving pictures if you want to see some ideas!

Thank you for our quick reply DS . Do you think DBTY lariat would work with a haloed pendant?

That's very similar to what I had. I actually quite like it. Perhaps the chain was just too short at 15 inch. This time whatever design I go with, it will have an extendable chain so I can wear it long/short

I don't have one though it's on my bucket list of jewelry to own before I croak. I've asked before, but I forgot… so whatever the answer was, it hasn't deterred me from wanting it! Search up a few of the Barbara pendant threads.. I'm sure the PS'ers covered that ground fast!
